Been a while...

Sheesh its been since May 20th since I last updated... lets me try to catch up here in the next few days. Robynn is off in Vegas for NAWIC [basically a bunch of crazy ladies who work in the construction biz] so since she is gone maybe I can get caught up here. Lets see where to start...

I guess I will go month by month and toss in a few pics.

JUNE:
June was a month where we really tried to break in the travel trailer as we camped out at TMS for the Indy and truck races with our buddies Joe n Michelle who came up from the San Antonio area. We also took the trailer out on its 1st official road trip to New Braunsfels and the Guadalupe River. Camping at TMS was much more tame this around as there were not near as many campers out there [especially the rowdy ones!]. We had neighbor spots with Michelle and Joe or "McJoe" as I have them in my cell phone. I remember it was windy, really really windy. The truck race was exciting as they normally are. Indy car was cool to but I think the coolest thing was Robbie Knieval jump before the race. You could feel the heat from the pyro-technics. Our road trip to the river was our anual get together float n drink [well we try for anual]. Robynn and I left Friday mid morning as I did not want to fight Austin traffic pulling the trailer for the first time on a trip longer than 30 miles.

Loyd Park

Well this last weekend we took Harvey out for its first non-race camp weekend and was pretty friggin' awesome. It was a very short drive to Loyd Park/Joe Pool Lake that is probably a good thing as I don't think Hunter would of lasted long in the truck! The crew this time was Ernie [Robynn's brother, Hunter [nephew], Robynn and my self. Katie [Ern's fiancee] was supposed to go but had a last minute family emergency that took her out of town, wish she could of been there but there will be a next time ohh and Doc their pooch. The trip started out very intresting as some how the dial on the break controller for the trailer got turned all the way up on "gain" and as soon as I tapped the brakes out of the drive way the trailer locked down all four wheels. Looked at Hunter and asked if he messed with it and he said "no" but later said "you know if you slide that button the light turns red" so I guess we know who was checking things out... Any ways we got there Friday night set up camp and drank and made hot dogs and smores. Saturday we went down to the swimming, rode bikes, and my boss man picked us up on his boat to go tubing. Hunter enjoyed that more than anyone as my back still is a little sore to this moment [Tuesday night] and Ernie almost ran into the top of a tree while tubing thanks to Mr. Mike and eventually got flung off the tube with nice tube/rope burn along his throat/jaw line. I forgot my camera on the boat sorry, need to get pics from Ann [Mikes keeper] Travis also showed up with his friend Chris and also got some time on the tube. Later that night "ole man" showed up with some fire wood so we built a big big fire and hung out and made some smores [again]. Sunday morning we ate breakfast packed up dumped the tanks [a whole different story thanks to Hunter] and went home and unpacked and washed the trailer [major PIB] and put it back in storage only to find out some how the fence that goes along our spot had been ripped down??? Enough rambling here are some pics...

Hunter lowering the stabilizers this was his "big job".

Ahh the side effects of beer:
Another great picture thanks to Miller Lite.

Hunter playing fireman... [you figure it out]

Doc n Hunter about to crash out...

Hunter the next morning when he was about to be folded up in the couch! I don't think he was awake enough to figure out what was going on! LMAO

Look what I caught guys!
Ahh too small throw it back!
[he actually requested this over and over]

Hunter is always about safety, note the life jacket while going on a bike ride... LOL

Have no clue what is going on here, I hope he was trying to climb the tree, other wise this is kind of Zoolander-ish.

Rear view of the trailer from the pavillion.

Hunter was not too excited about the veggies.
Ernie chopping up and building a bonfire even the aggies would appreciate...
Ernie getting some smores going...
Ooey & gooey = YUM-O
Hunter checking out the giant lady bug he found, it was rather large!

Meet Paulie and Harvey

Ok so I have this dumb facisnation with naming things. Like as in vehicles, "old blue" [my former truck R.I.P.], "Harold" aka the "Ho-Ho Racer" [around Christmas time] are both names for Robynn's car [Ho Ho Racer = HHR, get it hehehe]. Our dogs which have like 30 names besides their regular ones, Frog has dizz, dizzle, frooog, and kid while Melvin is refered to as bubby, Marvin [Frog calls him that] and "damn it" which Robynn calls him by the most. As most know "old blue" has been put to pasture and traded in for a new truck that can do some big work. We have named the 2005 GMC Duramax Diesel "Paulie the puller" and the travel trailer is "Harvey the RV". Feel free to snicker at will. Here are some pics of it at the casa its long! We got the trailer from Fun Time RV in Cleburne, Texas and the drive home wasnt so "white knuckle" but rather "sweaty palm" heck we even passed one car!

Do you see that in the storage?
It's Melvin! Robynn how did he get in there?
Just enough room to fit in the driveway~!
Robynn had to play with the awning.
I like this floor plan better than the 1st one we were looking at this has more kitchen and living spaces, they dont seem to over lap. No particular person cooking and blocking the flat screen TV!
We finally got our Kansas tickets in the mail [the top ones] we may take Harvey there but the real jewels are the Bristol night race tickets! [bottom left] and of course "THROTTLE UP!" with all our friends here at TMS!

We headed out today to drop Harvey for the week as I am a major newbie at parking and needed all the open room I could .[as well as turning, braking, and just pulling one in genral!]

My rig above, Jimmie's rig below! [its actually a demo rig for Kobalt tools]

Our camping spot #14!

Harvey all chocked, leveled, and stabilized! Good work Robynn!

Our buddy Joe must of got a new truck!

To pull this 5th wheel! [I thought they were in spot 24 but its 34! LOL]

These people are going to be the party people I know it, not knocking on them at all, you can have a good time with anything at TMS, but check out the rear leveling system, the awning appeared to be ripped off [violently?] and the front door was locked with a huge master lock]
